Digitization and preservation of all of your treasured media.
Whether you have precious 8mm film from 1951 or an old memory card with digital pictures, we can help convert that media into digital files that can easily be viewed and shared on modern devices. We can provide the digitized media to you in a variety of formats including flash drive, dropbox, or DVD.
If you have old, physical photos that are difficult to share, we can scan and digitize them so they can be easily viewed on smartphones, tablets, and computer. They will also be easily backed up to cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Photos, or Apple Photos. All photos are scanned at a minimum of 600dpi and saved to high quality JPEG files.
Price: Photo scanning is priced at $0.35 per photo
We can take old VHS, VHS-C, or Mini DV tapes storing your precious home videos and digitize them into digital video files that can be played on all modern devices. This conversion involves pulling the whole video off the tape, trimming the ends of the video if needed, and saving to a video format such as MP4. Extra editing and cutting of the video can be done for an additional price.
Price: Conversion of VHS tapes is priced at $12 per tape
8mm and 8mm Super films were the most common way to record home videos in the mid 1900s. Unfortunately, these videos are extremely difficult or even impossible to enjoy today. We can digitize 8mm and 8mm Super film reels using a dedicated film digitization machine which reads each frame of the film and builds a digital video file from it. At this time, we can only convert silent 8mm and 8mm Super film.
Price: Conversion of 8mm film is priced at $10 per film
If you have old digital cameras, memory cards, floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, hard drives, or flash drives that you have home movies or images on, we are able to save and consolidate those memories. These files can then be shared with you through a cloud storage option like Dropbox so they are easy to share and save.
Price: Prices for digital transfers vary based on the type and size of the media. Please reach out to get a quote on your project.
If you want your digital conversion to be cut up into separate videos for each scene or have a more complex video dream that needs editing, we may be able to accommodate.
Price: $10 per tape conversion for cutting tape into individual clips for each scene. Other editing services vary in price based on the project.
Subtitles make videos much more accessible to all people, but they are extremely tedious to add
manually to videos and are almost never present on home videos.
In order to preserve your memories in the best way possible, we offer the option to add AI generated
subtitles to all the videos that we process for you, or if you
have existing videos you would like subtitles on, we can also accommodate that.
Note: AI generated
subtitles are not always perfect, especially with low quality audio, and may not perfectly
represent the dialog present in the video.
Price: Adding AI generated subtitles to your videos costs $3 per tape digitized.

8mm film was a popular format for amateur filmmaking and home videos, introduced in the 1930s and used widely until the 1970s. It involved shooting on small reels of 8mm wide celluloid film, providing a cost-effective and accessible way for families to capture memories before the digital era. It was only phased out after the introduction of VHS tapes and camcorders.
VHS tapes were a widely used analog video recording format introduced in the late 1970s. They were commonly used for home videos, allowing families to record and playback memories on VCR (videocassette recorder) machines. VHS tapes became a popular medium for capturing personal moments, such as family gatherings, vacations, and special events, before the rise of digital technology in the early 2000s.
Mini DV tapes were a digital video recording format introduced in the late 1990s. They offered higher quality and smaller size compared to analog formats like VHS. Mini DV tapes became popular for home videos due to their compact size, ease of use, and ability to produce high-quality recordings, enabling families to capture memories with greater clarity and convenience.
